Inflation Rate in Fourth Week of October Reaches 0.13%: BI

Metrotvnews.com, Surabaya: Bank Indonesia (BI) Governor Agus Martowardojo said inflation rate in the fourth week of October 2016 reached 0.13 percent (mom) and 3.2 percent (yoy).

“Around 3.1 percent or 3.2 percent,” said Agus in Surabaya on Friday (10/28).

Agus stated the central bank will maintain inflation rate at four percent plus or minus one percent by the end of the year.

Previously, the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) recorded inflation rate in September 2016 reached 0.22 percent (mom) and 3.07 percent (yoy).

Meanwhile, inflation rate from January 2016 to September 2016 reached 1.97 percent.
