Indonesia Records USD1.21 Billion Trade Surplus in October

Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: Indonesia posted USD1.21 billion of trade surplus in October this year.

Indonesian exports reached USD12.68 billion last month. The exports increased by 4.6 percent compared to the same period last year.

“Indonesian exports reached USD117.09 billion in January-October 2016. The exports decreased by 8.04 percent compared to the same period last year,” said Central Statistics Agency (BPS) head Suhariyanto in Jakarta on Tuesday (11/15).

Indonesian imports reached USD11.47 billion last month. The imports increased by 3.27 percent compared to the same period last year.

Moreover, Indonesian imports reached USD110.17 billion in January-October 2016 .  The imports decreased by 7.5 percent compared to the same period last year.
