“It will not change,” said Jokowi in the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Wednesday (11/9).
“Especially our trade and investment relations. The United States is the fifth largest investor in Indonesia,” he continued.
Donald Trump beat Hillary Clinton in the United States presidential election. Trump collected more than 270 electoral college votes.
Trump promised to apply protectionist policies during campaign. He criticized free trade agreements such as NAFTA and TPP.
